What sits on the Bymore workbench
We are a small company with a narrow interest: the surface of a knit. Everything we make exists to take a sweater, a coat or a sofa cushion back to the way it looked on its first wear, and to do it in minutes rather than an afternoon. Two shavers, one compact and one with a 65mm head, are the whole range. We would rather make two things properly than twenty things loosely.
Five parts, and why each one is there
The perforated face that meets the fabric.
It decides what the blade can reach: three hole sizes on the compact, a protective mesh on the large head.
The ring on the compact that raises or lowers.
Fine knits want distance, flat weaves want none. One twist sets it.
The clear chamber that catches the clippings.
It detaches to empty, and on the compact it locks twice so a packed bag stays clean.
The slide on the compact: batteries or cord.
Hallway or ironing board, without owning two tools.
Steel, spinning behind the guard.
Spare blades ship with both lines, because a blade is a consumable and should be treated as one.
What we do
- Make fabric shavers, in a small size and a large one.
- Describe each one here in our own words, from its listing and our own use.
- Answer letters about fabrics, technique, blades and care.
- Keep this site free of accounts, forms and trackers.
What we leave alone
- Orders, payment, delivery and returns, which our partner store handles from your order page.
- Gadgets that are not shavers.
- Figures we cannot stand behind, which is why you will not find a runtime claim for the large head here.
- Reviews written by us. The ones on this site are copied from verified owners, as written.

The line on our box reads Desire Meets Creative. We take it literally: the desire is for clothes that last, and the creative part is the five parts above, revised whenever we find a better way. If you own one of our shavers and have an idea for a sixth part, the mailbox is open.
