Before you send a shaver back, run the thirty-second check

A good share of the shavers that get returned were never broken. They were full, or set too high, or asked to do a job meant for the other size. Thirty seconds with this list first; the store's return path is below if you still need it.

  1. Is the container full?A full chamber stops the suction and the blade starts leaving pills behind. Pull it off, tip it out, brush the head and try again.
  2. Is the power seated? On the compact, fresh batteries the right way round, or the cord fully in with the batteries removed. The slide switch has to sit at the end of its travel.
  3. Is the cover too high?A compact set to its highest position skims over flat weaves without touching the pills. Lower it a little and look again.
  4. Is the fabric flat?A sleeve hanging in the air moves away from the guard. Lay the garment on a hard surface and smooth it.
  5. Is the blade tired? If the same patch needs more than two passes, fit one of the spare blades from the box. A dull blade looks exactly like a faulty shaver.

Changed your mind

  1. Open the order at the partner store.
  2. Start a return while the store's window is open.
  3. Pack the shaver with its cord, blades and container.
  4. The refund follows the store's policy and timing.

Faulty on arrival

  1. Open the same order page and describe the fault.
  2. Add a photo or a short video; it speeds everything up.
  3. Choose the replacement or refund the store offers.
  4. Keep the box until the matter is closed.

We do not hold your order, your payment or your address, so a refund or a replacement cannot come from us. What can come from us is help: if the check above did not settle it, write and tell us what the shaver does on which fabric, and we will try to get you to the first wear anyway.
